DAY 1

This foundational module introduces participants to the world of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI. Learners explore key definitions, how AI differs from traditional computing, and the transformative potential of AI across industries. Through real-world examples and hands-on use of tools like ChatGPT and Gemini, participants begin applying AI for research and writing, while gaining a deeper understanding of AI’s role in modern workplaces.

Module 1: Introduction to AI & Generative AI (4 hours)

To help participants understand how AI can assist in conducting research and writing tasks tailored to different roles within an organization. This exercise builds familiarity with prompt writing, analyzing AI-generated outputs, and aligning AI responses to workplace needs.

In this module, participants discover how AI can be used to automate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows. The focus is on practical tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT for generating emails, reports, presentations, and analyzing data. By learning how to embed AI into daily routines, learners gain immediate, actionable skills to boost efficiency and focus on higher-value work.

This module offers a beginner-friendly introduction to the concepts of machine learning and neural networks. Participants explore how machine learning powers many AI applications, from recommendation engines to intelligent chatbots. The module emphasizes how these tools can be used in real business settings like marketing, finance, and customer service, with exercises designed to demonstrate AI's ability to support smarter decisions.

Participants explore AI support and collaboration for Sales and Marketing Activities. The module emphasizes how these tools can be used in real business settings like sales and marketing,  with exercises designed to demonstrate AI's support and collaboration to improve productivity. Participants enter prompts into ChatGPT or Gemini and observe how the tools respond. They will refine their prompts at least once to improve the relevance and depth of the answer (introducing basic prompt engineering skills).

DAY 4

Day 4: AI-Powered Creativity & Problem-Solving

Focusing on the creative potential of AI, this module equips participants with techniques to use AI as a partner in brainstorming, content creation, and solving challenges. Learners practice prompt engineering and content generation for marketing, video, and even music creation. Ethical considerations around creative use of AI are also explored, encouraging responsible innovation in communication and design tasks.

Module 4: AI-Powered Creativity & Problem-Solving  

Objective: Explore how AI can enhance creativity at work.

4. Activities and Exercises: (30 mins)

In this interactive activity, participants will explore how AI can support creative workflows by generating scripts, creating short videos, and composing background music. The session begins with participants using tools like 

  • ChatGPT or Gemini to generate a short script based on a provided prompt, such as a company introduction, a product explainer, or a motivational quote. 
  • Once the script is finalized, learners will input it into an AI video generation platform such as Sora, Pictory, Canva, or InVideo AI to produce a short branded video using pre-selected templates and visuals. 
  • Next, participants will experiment with AI music tools such as Soundraw, Mubert, or AIVA to generate a background music track that fits the tone and purpose of their video. The exercise will conclude with small group sharing and discussion on the opportunities and limitations of AI in creative content development, as well as best practices for integrating human oversight in AI-assisted media creation.


DAY 5

Day 5: AI Ethics, Risks & Responsible Use

This module emphasizes the importance of ethical and responsible AI use in the workplace. Participants learn to identify potential risks, biases, and security concerns associated with AI-generated content. Real-world examples and exercises highlight data privacy, risk mitigation, and the development of safe, transparent AI practices that align with organizational values and compliance standards.

Module 5: AI Ethics, Risks & Responsible Use

In this activity, participants will engage in a guided exploration of the ethical and legal implications of using AI in the workplace, specifically focusing on data privacy and security risks. Using realistic workplace scenarios and AI-generated outputs, learners will work in small groups to identify potential vulnerabilities, such as sharing sensitive information in prompts, relying on unsecured third-party tools, or exposing proprietary data to external AI models. Each group will analyze one scenario (e.g., HR using AI for resume screening or marketing using AI to draft personalized emails) and highlight where personal data might be unintentionally disclosed or misused. Participants will then complete a brief checklist to evaluate the security and privacy safeguards of common AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot. The session will wrap with a collaborative discussion on responsible data handling, including best practices and real-world compliance guidelines (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, or Canadian PIPEDA), empowering participants to use AI tools ethically and safely within their roles.

Day 6: Applying AI in Business & Future Trends

The final module brings together the course’s key concepts, with a forward-looking view on how AI is shaping the future of work. Topics include AI-driven leadership, industry-specific applications in HR, finance, and marketing, and emerging trends. Participants explore tools for project management and discuss strategies for continuous AI learning, ensuring they leave prepared to embrace ongoing innovation in their roles.

Module 6: Applying AI in Business & Future Trends  

Objective: Gain insights into AI’s future and real-world business applications.
